Home Colors That Sell
The most pleasing and non-offensive colors are earth tones. These satisfy the largest section of the population, work for almost any architectural style, and endure. Warm earth tones have a brown foundation, while cool earth tones have a gray foundation. The colors themselves range from very light to deep. Stay with lighter colors for both interior and exterior, as lighter shades make a room feel brighter and larger.

Lighting
Bulbs, Fixtures & Landscape
If you have recessed lighting in the ceiling, change out floodlight bulbs for dimmable halogen spotlights.
If you do not have dimmer switches, install them everywhere.
Sometimes the most discreet things leave the greatest impression, and lighting fixtures are one of those things. Good lighting fixtures sell homes!
